Installation of New Energy Efficient Heating System

Ruthin School is one of the oldest public schools in the United Kingdom. Located on the outskirts of Ruthin, the county town of Denbighshire in North Wales, the school is over seven hundred years old and has been co-educational since 1990.

The previous heating system was an aged and inefficient which was prone to failure and was in need of replacement.

The Belfry Group Limited, were tasked with the design and installation of a new, energy efficient heating system and the EcoPod Heating System naturally adapted into place, combining a highly efficient boiler cascade and many other existing and new technologies.

The EcoPod heating system was fabricated offsite, delivered pre-commissioned and connected into the existing heating system within the same day.

The installation of the EcoPod Heating System has offered the School considerable cost savings, which they are are able to re-invest into the school, coupled with the added benefit of reduced CO2 emissions.
