The EcoPod Heating System combines highly efficient cascade boilers with solar power.This combination in our exclusively designed pod gives you the opportunity to enjoy massive savings for you, your tenants or your business. The EcoPod is suitable for retrofitting to apartment blocks, hotels, schools, hospitals and office blocks. We can fit the system with virtually no downtime for your occupiers and users and without the need for a long installation period or disruptions. The EcoPod is at the forefront of utilising proven technology in the most efficient way. The component parts are sourced from top suppliers such as Bosch, Grundfos, Uponor and Alfa Laval to name a few. This means you receive a high quality system with very little maintenance.The EcoPod is built at our head office in Warrington, Cheshire. It is delivered to site fully commissioned and working ready to be lifted by crane into position. The pre prepared reinforced steel base that the EcoPod is lowered onto ensures good weight distribution and provides a solid foundation. However, the EcoPod does not have to be placed externally or on a rooftop. It can be installed anywhere within your building, subject to an initial survey.Key Benefits Include:-
Belfry Group will fully survey your property to ensure the maximum number of thermal solar collectors are introduced to the system. This enables free heat to be supplied to the system and a revenue to be generated as part of the newly proposed Government RHI. EcoPod Once a building survey has been completed Belfry will design a bespoke system which will contribute the most to your building. Each EcoPod can be manufactured with up to 1MW of heat output and can even be fully fitted with a biomass plant, which will again benefit from the RHI. Flow & Return Risers Belfry Group only install Uponor MLCP pipe work within communal areas. This is a crimped system, thus no hot works or threading, and is far less time consuming to install. The pipe work is ultra insulated resulting in minimal temperature loss and comes pre-painted white avoiding the need for decoration. Alfa Laval Mini City From the newly installed riser system the flow and return pipe work is connected to a twin plate heat distribution unit (namely Alfa Laval Mini City). A conventional radiator system can be connected to the Alfa Laval Mini City. Conventional Radiators Heating System or Under-Floor Heating. We can retrofit to existing systems including conventional radiators, under floor heating and any form of conventional wet system. The Mini City, in effect, is a sealed system just like a combination boiler but without gas. This unit alleviates the problem of a conventional fortic cylinder, which does not allow the use of a mixer valve type shower due to there being very little static head. Tenants and customers can therefore retrofit a shower and mixer valve at their leisure. This also results in a vast reduction of water and electricity usage for the block (no costly immersion heaters!).
